Terms of Service

Authorized use

The portal is provided only to parents, guardians, teachers, administrators, and other people authorized by Inspired Torah Schoolhouse. Access is invitation-only. You may use the portal solely for legitimate school, family, educational, and administrative purposes connected to your assigned role.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, use only your own account, keep your password and devices secure, and promptly notify the school of suspected unauthorized access. Google sign-in may be used only with a Google account connected to your approved school account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until the school is notified and has a reasonable opportunity to act.

Privacy and student records

You may access only information the portal makes available for your role and relationships. You must protect student, family, staff, financial, safety, and school information from unauthorized access or disclosure. You may not download, copy, share, publish, scrape, or use portal records for an unrelated purpose. Our Privacy Policy describes how the portal handles information.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Access another person’s account or records without authorization.
• Bypass permissions, security controls, rate limits, or authentication requirements.
• Upload malware or content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing.
• Interfere with the portal, probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission, or use automated extraction tools.
• Misrepresent your identity, role, relationship to a student, or authority to act.

School information and communications

The portal is an administrative convenience and may not always contain the school’s complete official record. If portal information appears incorrect, contact the school rather than relying on it for a time-sensitive decision. The portal is not an emergency service. For an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service and the school through its established emergency channels.

Donations and third-party services

Donations are processed through Zeffy’s hosted service and are also subject to Zeffy’s terms and privacy practices. Zeffy may suggest an optional contribution to support its platform; that contribution is optional. Selecting a student in the portal records attribution intent only and does not create tuition credit, financial aid, or a guarantee that a donation has been completed. Contact the school about donation records, corrections, or refunds.

Google, Supabase, Vercel, Zeffy, and other third-party services may apply their own terms to the services they provide. The school is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue portal features, and we may restrict or terminate access to protect students, users, school operations, or security. We aim to provide reliable access but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Important school deadlines and responsibilities continue to apply even if the portal is temporarily unavailable.

Ownership

The portal software, design, branding, and school-created materials are owned by or licensed to Inspired Torah Schoolhouse. These terms do not transfer ownership rights. You retain any rights you may have in information you lawfully submit, while granting the school permission to use it as reasonably necessary to operate the school and portal.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The portal is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited. The school is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized use resulting from a user’s failure to protect an account, or by third-party outages and events beyond the school’s reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the portal changes. The effective date will be updated when revised terms are published. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
